Ingredients
250g unsalted butter, softened
150g granulated sugar
150g brown sugar
320g all-purpose flour
5g baking soda
5g salt
300g chocolate chips
5ml vanilla extract
2 large eggs
Instructions
1. Cream butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
2. Add vanilla extract and eggs one at a time, mixing well.
3. In a separate bowl, mix flour, baking soda, and salt.
4. Gradually combine dry and wet ingredients until just mixed.
5. Fold in chocolate chips and portion dough with a scoop.
6. Chill the dough for at least 30 minutes.
7. Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F).
8. Bake for 15–18 minutes until golden edges and soft centers.
9. Cool on tray for 5 minutes, then transfer to rack.
